Sacred Gathering II - Celebrating Freddy Cherri

Welcome to the 2nd Annual Sacred Gathering at Rocas Retreat.  This gathering represents our effort to keep building our community, healing, connecting, and learning in a sacred space.  This year, and we will take time to honor, reflect, and celebrate our friend and brother, Freddy, who died in February after a brief illness. There will be dancing, laughing, storytelling, and a chance to connect with Freddy’s son, Max, and his husband.

This event will begin on Friday, June 27th and conclude on Tuesday, July 1st.  A detailed itinerary will be shared once you have registered, or is available upon request.

Click the Register Now button to sign up!  The base rate for the retreat, including meals, is $275.  Additional costs are applicable if you choose to utilize Rocas Retreat accommodations versus bringing your own tent or van.  Rates vary based on the type of accommodations you choose.  See below for details.

Accommodations

Guests are invited to choose from different accommodation options. All prices are reflected on a per person basis, except for the Tier 1 and 2 rooms. The rate for these rooms depends on occupancy – with guests choosing either single or double occupancy. Irrespective of the type of lodging selected, each guest wishing to stay overnight must pay the $275 Retreat price.  The prices listed below are all-inclusive, meaning they include the $275 base rate.  Guests registering for the Self-Stay and Community Stay may use the shower and restroom facilities in the Barn or Upper Room areas.  If there is a particular room you would like to stay in, please include your preference on your registration form.  We will do our best to honor expressed preferences based on availability.

1) Self-Stay – Bring your own tent or van.  Cost: $275

2) Community Stay – Space in the Upper Room.   Cost*: $400

3) Tier 4 Room – Your own bed or shared bed (if desired), potentially in a shared space.  Cost*: $600

4) Tier 3 Room – Your own bed in a double occupancy space.  Cost*: $800

5) Tier 2 Room – Single or shared Queen bed in premium space.  Cost*: $1,425 for single occupancy; $850 each for double occupancy

6) Tier 1 Room – Single or shared King bed in premium space.  Cost*: $1,625 for single occupancy; $950 each for double occupancy

*Does not include 8% occupancy tax on accommodations portion.  For example, if you choose a Tier 4 room the cost is $600 ($275 retreat cost + $325 lodging cost = $600) + 8% on $325 ($26), for a total cost of $626, including tax.

Meals

All meals are included with your stay.  You are also welcome to bring your favorite snacks or anything else you would like to have with you.

Deposits and Cancellations

A 50% deposit is required to hold your space.  The remaining balance is due prior to your arrival.  No refunds will be given for cancellations within 30 days of the retreat.  The final day for cancellation is May 27, 2025
